Typically, a player with purchase game cards that are five by five inch grid pattern. Across the top is the word BINGO, each letter at the top of each column. This card holds twenty four spaces and one free space in the middle. Numbers are drawn at random with the American version have seventy five possible and the British and Australian versions having ninety possible. In the UK, Bingo is played in almost all seaside towns and will offer cash prizes where in the US, because of gambling laws, cuddly toys are won instead of cash.
The numbers that are drawn are done in quick succession by the Caller. You must stay on your toes and be focused as this game can take place quickly. If you have the letter/number combination that is called, you must mark your card and one you get a whole line diagonally, vertically or horizontally, you call out Bingo, and you are the winner of that game.
